Tumbling Coach
-Full name: Hope Ressel
-Coaching status: Tumbling and Stunting coach
-How many years with PMJC: 1
-How many years being a cheerleading coach: 4
-What experience do you have with cheerleading: I have cheered my whole life in addition to gymnastics. I started cheering on midgets, moved up to middle school cheerleading, and then cheered all four years in high school for varsity football/basketball cheerleading. In addition, I have also cheered for Elite Star Explosion competition squad and traveled all over the place for competitions and nationals. I have helped coach for a couple of years now here and there, but last year was my first time as head coach. I’ve coached high school, midgets, and elite levels with tumbling, jumps, and stunts.
-One favorite cheer memory with PMJC: My favorite memory was seeing my girls have such a love for this sport and their willingness to learn.
-About myself: I am currently attending West Chester University for my degree in Exercise Science Sports Medicine.
-Favorite hobbies: Compete and eat!!
-Competition statistics: I actually have had the opportunity by getting picked to cheer in the 2004 Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade, the 2007 Hawaii Pro Bowl, and the 2010 London New Years Day Parade. Those were some of the best experiences of my life! I have also won the All Star cheerleader award twice and many first place jump-a-thons when I competed. Last year when I coached for PMJC, my wonderful C squad ladies took home a 1st place and two 3rd places. Could not be more proud of them!
