-Experience: Cheerleading has been a part of my life since elementary school. I cheered throughout elementary school and high school, an in high school I coached, as well as being my team captain. But honestly, I have been a cheerleader my entire life on and off the field. Cheerleading is not just a sport but an attitude and outlook on everything in life. They're is nothing that you cannot acomplish when you work as a team and inspire yourself, your team and everyone around you. Negativity has no place in our world. Cheerleaders accomplish things every ay that others can only imagine.

-My Favorite Cheerleading Memory: I have so many! One of my personal favorites happened when I was a high school Junior. We had a HORRIBLE football team (poor guys) but after 6 games without one score, we made it into the end zone. We still lost the game, but we were ecstatic anyway. The football players tried to carry both the quarterback and the receiver off the field, but kept dropping them and laughing. We (the awesome cheerleaders) ran out and carried them both off the field. Since I can't narrow my favorite PMJC memories down to just one, I will tell you that watching my daughters face fill with joy, pride and such a sense of accomplishment when she performs at a competition. But ... ask me for some funny stories!

-About Myself: I was born and raised in Philadelphia (Go Eagles) and moved out to Lancaster County almost 14 years ago. I am married to a wonderful man, Steven Drake, who is the chef at the Belvedere Inn. I have two wonderful children. My son, Christopher Gotwals, is currently a senior at PMHS. He is a wrestler, a tennis player and proudly a US SOLDIER! He went to boot camp the summer of his junior year, and currently is in an engineering unit in Reading in the reserves. Upon graduation, Chris will be majoring in Engineering and is scheduled to deploy to Afghanistan next October. My daughter, Alexandra Drake, will be a freshman at PMHS this August. She is a cheerleader, gymnast and runs track. She is a dedicated student, and plans on becoming, a forensic anthropologist, a writer, a photographer and star on Broadway... all at the same time. I am an animal lover, and after being a restaurant manager for many years, bought Country Club Pet Lodge, so I could combine my love for dogs and my career. I love life and live each day to the fullest. My Hobbies: We are an outdoor family, and love to camp, fish, spend time both in the mountains and beach. I love to read and play board games... I'm very competitive! I also enjoy singing and playing poker with friends.

-Competition Statistics: I have preformed in many competitions as a cheerleader and our teams highest win was at the tri-state competition where we placed first. But, to be honest, I have a hard time remembering whether we won or lost at most competitions. I walked into my daughters room to check her medals and trophies to see what we placed when I coached her. I have a hard time remembering because WE ALWAYS FELT LIKE WINNERS. WE ALWAYS WERE WINNERS.
